Foreign Minister Dr. Rana meets Qatar’s Foreign Minister Muraikhi

Kathmandu: Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba has met with Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs  Sultan bin Saad bin Sultan Al Muraikhi at Oman’s capital Muscat.

Minister Dr. Rana and Qatar’s Foreign Affairs Minister Muraikhi, who are in Muscat to participate in the 8th Indian Ocean Conference, held a sideline meeting on Sunday.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the meeting, the relationship between Nepal and Qatar, and bilateral interests, including scholarships to Nepali students and others were discussed.

Likewise, Minister Dr. Rana during a sideline meeting, urged Minister Muraikhi to help for Joshi’s release. Minister Dr. Rana praised the Qatar government as a mediator in the ceasefire between Israel and Qatar and urged a special initiative for the release of Bipin.
