Kathmandu: With the approaching special festival of Hindus, Maha Shivaratri, painting, and renovation work at the Pashupatinath premises has taken its pace.

Millions of devotees from various countries, including India, are expected to pay homage to the Pashupatinath temple for the Maha Shivaratri festival.

Pashupatinath Area Development Trust (PADT) has made special arrangements for cleaning for this year’s Maha Shivaratri. The cleaning campaign started on Magh 25. This year Maha Shivaratri will be celebrated on the 14th of Falgun.

A main ceremony committee has been formed under the leadership of the Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Badriprasad Pandey for the arrangements of the Maha Shivaratri.
