Prachanda: Anyone who tries to erase the 'People’s War', will will turn to ashes

Kathmandu: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ has stated that the inspiration from the People’s War will remain for centuries.

Addressing a program organized at the party’s central office in Perisdanda on Thursday, on the occasion of the 30th People’s War Day, Chairperson Dahal commented on the attempts to finish the legacy of the People’s War.

‘The People’s War was the most significant revolutionary change in the history of Nepal,’ Chairperson Dahal warned, ‘It will continue to inspire not only today but for centuries. No one can erase it, and anyone who tries to erase it will turn to ashes.’

Also, the Former Prime Minister, the Chairperson expressed determination, stating that even though the court had postponed the decision citing the reason that the peace process had not been completed, the People’s War Day remains a national day, and it will be established as a national day.
