DPM Singh calls for utilising educational opportunities

Kathmandu: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh has stressed the need for an adequate utilisation of opportunities in the education sector.

During his address to a cultural program organized by the Nepal Students’ Union, Patan Multiple Campus Unit on Wednesday, Minister Singh said educational institutions at home are providing quality services and students should explore opportunities.

‘Quality of education in the country is often questioned, but numerous opportunities for advanced studies and research with the use of technology are available here and students are expected to take maximum benefits from it’ said Minister Singh.

The Campus library that was damaged by the 2015 earthquake was reconstructed on the initiation of the Unit. Students have contributed to the fund collection for the restoration of library and it was handed to the campus administration today itself.
