Dr. Shekhar Koirala: Government's wrong actions must be called wrong

Kathmandu: Nepali Congress leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala has stated that the government’s wrong actions must be called out as wrong.

Speaking at a seminar on “Girija Prasad Koirala and Contemporary Politics,” leader Koirala commented on the government’s decision. Koirala said that ministers should bring the wrongdoings of the Oli government in front of the people.

‘Speaking with the party president multiple times; he said ‘Why to call Oli wrong? Why to say anything? Why to speak against CPN (UML)? Why say anything at all?’ That’s not right. One must be able to call wrong as wrong.’

He warned that If Congress cannot call wrong as wrong, it will perish. Additionally, he said that running the country through ordinances is the starting point of authoritarianism.
