Prachanda: Youth's energy should be utilized for transformation of society

Kathmandu: Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said the energy of youth should be properly utilized in the progressive transformation of the society.

During the meeting with newly elected office-bearers of All Nepal National Independent Students Union (Revolutionary) at Dahal’s residence in Khumaltar on Thursday, Chairperson Dahal said, ‘I believe that the energy of youth, elected through the practice of internal democracy, can be properly utilized to lead the educational movement.’

Congratulating and extending best wishes to all elected committee members, he urged the student leaders to be involved in the country’s development, transformation of society and good governance as well as against wrongdoings.

The 23rd national conference of ANNISU (Revolutionary), the student wing of the CPN (Maoist Centre), has elected a central committee under chairmanship of Bijay Sapkota.
