Kathmandu: The detention hearing on the Supreme Cooperative Fraud case has been completed.
Information Officer Ananta Raj Marasini said due to lack of time, the detention hearing couldn’t be concluded, however, it will be continued on Friday.
The Public Prosecutor discussed on Thursday, also Dinesh Tripathi discussed from the complainant’s side.
Likewise, under the single bench of Justice Prahlad Kumar Yogi, the detention hearing began on Thursday.
After the detention hearing is completed, the court will either order 1 to keep Lamichhane in remand for investigation, release him on bail, or release him on the date of attendance.
A case was filed against 42 people, including Lamichhane in District Court Rupandehi on Sunday. It is claimed that Lamichhane has more than 40 million (4 crore) rupees.
