DPM Singh urges all to engage efforts for economic development

Kathmandu: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakashman Singh urged all sides concerned to engage in coordinated efforts for economic development.

At a press meeting organized by Nepal Press Union on Wednesday, he stressed the need to give special priority to agriculture, energy production and tourism sectors to fulfil the national aspiration of building a prosperous nation.

Minister Singh said that the constitution would be amended to enable the government. The seven-point agreement reached at the time of the formation of the government was followed.

‘The government has moved ahead by passing the New Urban Policy 2081 BS. We will organize the new urban projects and are working according to the wishes of the people’ said Minister Singh.’
