Kathmandu: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane, who was released on bail in a case involving the misappropriation of savings from Pokhara’s Surya darshan Cooperative, has appeared at the Kathmandu District Court.
Lamichhane, also a former Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister, appeared at the court after 9 AM on Tuesday.
Following the Kaski District Court’s order, Lamichhane was released on Thursday on bail of 6.5 million rupees.
However, since another cooperative-related case is pending in Kathmandu, he voluntarily appeared at the District Court.
