New Orleans vehicle attack: 15 dead; Suspect Identified

Kathmandu: 15 people have been killed in the New Orleans vehicle attack. At least 35 others were injured in the attack.
According to the BBC, the suspect in the attack has been identified as a 42-year-old US citizen from Texas, Shamsud-Din Jabbar. People shot him dead after the attack.
The preliminary investigation reveals that he drove a pick-up truck at high speed into large crowds.
The FBI has said an Islamic State (IS) group flag was found in the vehicle. FBI is investigating the incident as an “act of terrorism. ”
Investigators say the suspect was not “solely responsible” for the attack. The truck and the area consisted of potential explosive devices.
