President Paudel expresses grief over demise of U.S. Former President Carter

Kathmandu: President Ram Chandra Paudel has expressed his grief over the demise of USA Former President Jimmy Carter.

President Paudel expressed grief through social media on Monday. The President wrote,’ I am deeply saddened by the passing away of the former U.S. President and Nobel Laureate Jimmy Carter. His contribution to peace, human rights, and benevolence has been an inspiration to the world. My heartfelt condolence go out his family and the American people.’

U.S. former President Jimmy Carter passed away at the age of (100) at his residence in Georgia on Sunday. He was the 39th President of the USA from 1977 to 1981. He also became the longest-lived former President in American history.
