18th Chitwan Elephant and Tourism Fesitval begins at Sauraha (Photo Feature)
Kathmandu: The 18th Chitwan Elephant and Tourism Festival has begun at Sauraha.
In an inauguration program, a cultural rally began from the damp side of Sauraha, which passed Gaida Chowk, and Hattti Chowk. Regional Hotel Association Chitwan is the organizer of the festival.
The rally, encircling the city, reached the event venue Baghmara Central Community Forest Ground. The Chitwan Elephant and Tourism Festival is organized every year in Sauraha, for the development of Chitwan Tourism.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh inaugurated the program. The festival will conclude on December 30 (Poush 15).
