Kathmandu Gurkhas defeat Pokhara Avengers by 6 wickets

Kathmandu: Kathmandu Gurkhas have defeated Pokhara Avengers by 6 wickets in the Nepal Premiere League.

Kathmandu Gurkhas defeated Pokhara Avengers by 6 wickets at T.U. International Cricket Stadium on Saturday.

With the victory, the possibility of the team entering the playoffs has grown stronger. The playoff possibility of Pokhara Avengers is still alive.

Kathmandu Gurkhas chased the target of 139 runs in 14.1 overs with a loss of 4 wickets. Stephen Eskinazi scored a half-century for the victory.

Eskinazi scored 60 out of 34 balls and scored 10 boundaries for the team. Michael Levitt scored 32, and Bhim Sharki 22 runs for the team. Gerhard Erasmas was unbeaten at 25 runs.

Bipin Khatri took 3 wickets for Pokhara Avengers. And Michael Leask took 1 wicket for the team.

In the first innings,

Pokhara scored 138 runs in 20 overs with a loss of 8 wickets at T.U. International Cricket Stadium.

Raymon Reifer was unbeaten at 41 runs for Pokhara Avengers. He smashed one boundary and three sixes out of 30 balls. Dinesh Kharel scored 38 and Dilip Nath 27 runs for the team.

Karan KC and Rashid Khan took 3 wickets each for Kathmandu Gurkhas. Michael Levitt and Gerhard Erasmus took 1 wicket each for Kathmandu.

Now, Janakpur Bolts and Chitwan Rhinos will compete in the next match.
