Foreign Minister Dr. Rana departing for India from Europe; Meeting with her counterpart Dr. Jaishankar underway

Kathmandu: Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba is set to visit India. Currently, on a Europe tour, Minister Dr. Rana is expected to travel directly to New Delhi on December 19 (Poush 4).

According to a high-ranking Ministry of Foreign Affairs source, Minister Rana is going to Delhi to participate in an educational seminar. The Foreign Minister will have a meeting with External Affairs Minister of India Dr. S. Jaishankar and other high-level officials in New Delhi.

After the agreement, relating to the Framework of the Belt and Road Cooperation with the Republic of China, during the official China Visit of Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli, Minister Dr. Rana’s visit to India is being analyzed in great significance.

The source said there will also be an attempt to meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Foreign Minister’s visit.
