Karnali Yaks register their 3rd consecutive win in NPL

Kathmandu: Karnali Yaks have registered their 3rd consecutive win in the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

Karnali Yaks defeated Pokhara Avengers by 7 wickets at T.U. International Cricket Ground on Tuesday. This is the third defeat of Pokhara Avengers in the tournament.

Karnali Yaks chased a target of 103 runs in 15 overs, with a loss of 3 wickets.

Gulshan Jha was unbeaten at 49 runs for the Karnali Yaks. Chadwick Walton contributed 42 runs for the team. Captain Kushal Burtel, Bipin Karki, and Sagar Dhakal took 1-1 wickets for the Pokhara Avengers.

In the first innings, Pokhara Avengers was packed up in 16.3 overs and scored 103 runs

Dinesh Kharel scored 26 runs and Andries Gous contributed 25 runs for the Pokhara Avengers.

William Bosisto took 6 wickets for the Karnali Yaks. Captain Sompal Kami, Bipin Sharma, and Unish Thakuri took 1-1 wickets for the team.

Pokhara won the toss and chose to bat first.

Now, Janakpour Bolts will face Sudurpaschim Royals, and Kathmandu Gurkhas will compete against Lumbini Lions on Wednesday.
