Janakpur Bolts registers 3rd victory in NPL; Pokhara Avengers defeated by 7 wickets

Kathmandu: Janakpur Bolts has registered its 3rd victory in the Nepal Primer League (NPL).

Janakpur Bolts defeated Pokhara Avengers by 7 wickets at Tribhuvan International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Thursday. This is the 3rd victory of Janakpur in a row.

Janakpur chased the target of 139 runs in 17.1 overs with a loss of 7 wickets. Lahiru Milantha scored 45 runs for the Janakpur Bolts. James Neesham was unbeaten at 40 runs, and Aasif Sheikh added 33 runs for the team.

Bipin Karki, Michael Leask, and Kushal Burtel took 1-1 wickets for Pokhara Avengers.

In the first innings, Pokhara Avengers scored 138 runs in 20 overs with a loss of 7 wickets.

Marcus Critchley scored 35 runs for Pokhara Avengers. Andries Gous 20 and Michael Leask 25 runs for the the team.

Lalit Rajbanshi took 3 wickets for Janakpur Bolts. James Neesham took 2 wickets and Mohammad Mohsin and Kishore Mahato took 1-1 wickets.

Now, Sudurpaschim Royals and Kathmandu Gurkhas will compete in the next match.
