PM Oli lays wreath at Martyrs' Monument in China

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has laid a wreath at the Martyrs’ Monument commemorating the people’s heroes of the Chinese revolution.

PM Oli, who is on a four-day official visit to China, offered a wreath at the Martyrs’ Monument at Tiananmen Square in Beijing on Tuesday. The Prime Minister arrived in Beijing on Monday at the friendly invitation of Chinese Premier, Li Qiang.

According to Foreign Minister Dr Arzu Rana Deuba, PM Oli is scheduled to call on Chinese President Xi Jinping later today, Earlier, he had a bilateral meeting with his Chinese counterpart where various issues of bilateral interest were discussed, along with the signing of a nine-point MoU between the two countries. The PM-led Nepali delegation would return home on December 5.
