Chitwan Rhinos signs Sohail Tanvir

Kathmandu: Chitwan Rhinos has signed Pakistan cricket’s longest-serving stalwart, Sohail Tanvir, for the upcoming season of the Nepal Premier League.

Chitwan Rhinos expressed his excitement about welcoming Tanvir to the team.

According to Chitwan Rhions, the disguised pace variations and the illusion of a wrong-footed action helped left-armer Tanvir as one of the first Pakistani T20 specialists to make a name in leagues worldwide.

A former Indian Premier League winner with Rajasthan Royals, Pakistan Super League winner, and above all a World T20 Cup trophy to boot, Tanvir’s glorious and extended career doesn’t feel like stopping any time soon.

Social Tanvir said, ‘It is a challenge, I am looking forward to.
Going to Nepal and representing Chitwan Rhinos in front of thousands of Nepali cricket fans is going to be a glorious
experience. I know there are many Pakistan cricket team fans in
Nepal as well.’

‘We need someone who has been there and done that. We have
turned around the setback of losing De Lange with renewed
energy and focus with the signing of Sohail Tanvir. A serial
winner’s presence in the dressing room boosts the squad to give
their best, ‘ said Aayush Neupane, the Chairperson of Chitwan Rhinos.

Biratnagar Kings and Janakpur Bolts will compete in the inauguration match of the Nepal Premiere League on Saturday.
