Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has announced that the scope of social security would be expanded.
PM Oli on the occasion of 7th Social Security Day organized by the Social Security Fund on Tuesday, announced that next 90 days, the children of contributors would also benefit from the fund and contributors whose treatment expenses exceed to 1 lakh rupees will be covered by 50% of the total expenses from the fund.
Likewise, PM Oli said that the government would be responsible and accountable for the provision and obligations of fundamental rights in the constitution. He said the government is active in making the nation prosperous.
He even announced that temporary, salaried employees would also be included in the scope of social security.
