Delays in bringing RSP Chairperson Lamichhane to Kathmandu

Kathmandu: The process of bringing Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane, from Pokhara, Kaski, to Kathmandu has been delayed. Chairperson Lamichhane was arrested on charges of embezzling funds from Suryadarshan cooperative.

According to the Kaski District Police Office, the delay occurred because no flight ticket had been secured from Kathmandu by 9:30 AM on Tuesday.

Kaski Police Spokesperson DSP Basanta Kumar Sharma informed Nepal Views, ‘So far, we have not received any documents or flight tickets from Kathmandu police.’

Lamichhane was supposed to be sent to Kathmandu on Buddha Air’s 8:40 AM flight this morning. However, the process is facing delays.
