Warning rally to dismiss river standards (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: A warning rally has been organized on the demand to dismiss the river and stream bank standards in Kathmandu.

Valley Road Expansion Victims Struggle Committee and Land Rights Protection Struggle Committee held a rally on Thursday. National Liberation Revolution Keshav Jha, Activist Suman Sayami, and others attended the rally.

Likewise, the demonstration carried banners and placards with various slogans written on them. The rally, which began from the Bagmati riverside, Kupandole reached Maitighar Mandala.

The activists and public residing in the area have been demonstrating after the Supreme Court ordered to leave additional 20 meters on the banks of the river.
