Home Minister Lekhak: Minister reshuffle is just rumour

Kathmandu: Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has claimed that the Ministerial reshuffle in the current government was only a rumour.

Minister Lekhak in response to a question about the Ministerial reshuffle, in a press meeting organized by the Nepal Press Union, Kailali on Thursday, made such a claim.

He said that the reshuffle of Ministerial hasn’t been discussed in the Council of Ministers. ‘Though the right to reshuffle Ministers is vested in the Prime Minister, till now no such topic is being raised’ said Minister Lekhak.

Minister Lekhak said there is no possibility of reshuffling Ministerial since the work done by the government and Ministries is slowly beginning to be seen. He even clarified that it was just a rumor that his Home Minister post was about to go.
