Earthquakes continue to occur in Nepal of late. It is considered an earthquake-prone territory as it is located in the Himalayan region.

Earthquake jolts Annapurna Region

Kathmandu: An earthquake with its epicentre at Annapurna Region has been recorded.

The National Earthquake Measurement and Research Centre, Lainchaur said the tremor measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale and with its epicentre at Annapurna Region on the border between Kaski and Manang districts occurred at 10.13 a.m. on Thursday.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 Richter scale and with its epicenter around Orang of Dolakha district occurred on November 7.

Earthquakes continue to occur in Nepal of late. It is considered an earthquake-prone territory as it is located in the Himalayan region.
