Durga Prasai taken to CIB

Kathmandu: Arrested medical business person Durga Prasai has been taken to the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police.

Prasai has been brought to the CIB office in Lazimpat on Tuesday afternoon. A CIB team arrested Prasai from his residence in Kamerotar, Bhaktapur on Tuesday morning.

Recently, Prasai has been making controversial statements regarding Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. He was arrested following a contentious remark against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

Durga Prasai’s claim ‘PM Oli has investments in Cambodia’

On Monday, Prasai accused Prime Minister Oli of having investments in Cambodia’s telecommunications sector.

Previously, he was arrested on charges of character assassination of Tika Sangroula, a central member of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), among others on September 22.
