CPN (Maoist Center) Office Bearers’ meeting postponed

Kathmandu: The meeting of office bearers of the CPN (Maoist Center), scheduled for Monday, has been postponed.

A party source stated that the meeting was deferred due to the busy schedule of Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda.”

Former Prime Minister Prachanda will be attending programs today, including the tribute ceremony for former Speaker Daman Nath Dhungana.

Party Secretary Devendra Poudel said the meeting was previously called to discuss amendments to the party statute, preparations for the Central Committee meeting, and issues related to the local-level by-elections.

The meeting was scheduled to take place at 11 AM at the central office in Parisdanda. The postponed meeting will now be held on Mangsir 4 (November 20).

The office bearers’ meeting held earlier on Kartik 26 (November 12) had decided to call another meeting on Mangsir 3 (November 19) for further discussions.
