Krishna Man Dangol from Nepali Congress files candidacy for Kirtipur’s Mayor (Photos)
Leaders and lawmakers Rajendra KC, Jeet Basnet, along with General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma accompanied Dangol to register his candidacy.
Kathmandu: Krishnaman Dangol has registered his candidacy for the position of Kirtipur Municipality’s Mayor on behalf of Nepali Congress (NC).
Dangol is also the Kirtipur Municipal Committee Chairperson. Leaders and lawmakers Rajendra KC, Jeet Basnet, along with General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma accompanied Dangol to register his candidacy.
Likewise, Ichcha Kumar Mahrajan from NC filed candidacy in Ward 1, and Rajendra Baniya in Ward 4. NC’s Raj Kumar Nakarmi won the election by attaining 9 thousand 43 votes in the election held in 2022 (2079).
The by-election is scheduled to take place after the demise of Nakarmi.
