According to Dhungana’s family, he died during treatment at Frontline Hospital, Baneshwor on Sunday afternoon.

Kathmandu: Former Speaker Daman Nath Dhungana has passed away.
According to Dhungana’s family, he died during treatment at Frontline Hospital, Baneshwor on Sunday afternoon.
Dhungana was elected from Kathmandu in the general election of 2048, on behalf of the Nepali Congress. At that time he became Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR).
His contribution to Nepal’s Political movement and Parliamentary system is considered as significant.
