Dhangadhi: Former Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has stated the ongoing protests against the arrest of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane unjustified.

Speaking briefly to journalists at Dhangadhi airport on Sunday, NC President Deuba clarified that Lamichhane’s arrest followed legal procedures based on a parliamentary investigation report, emphasizing, ‘Rabi Lamichhane will face action according to the law.’

Leader Deuba, who arrived in Dhangadhi on Sunday to participate in various programs in his home district, Dadeldhura, gave a brief response to journalists at the airport, clarifying that Lamichhane would face legal action as per the law.
