Kathmandu: House of Representatives (HoR) Lawmaker Rajendra Bajgai has staged a symbolic protest. Targeting expensive air ticket fares and chaos in the tourism sector, Lawmaker Bajgain led the symbolic protest on Sunday at Maitighar.

The demonstrators protested against the Nepal Airlines Company for expensive air ticket fares and for causing chaos in the tourism sector after the closure of the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

Lawmaker Bajgai accused the Nepal Airlines Company of adding expensive fares that are creating difficulties for Nepali brothers, and sisters who are forced to leave the country for foreign employment, due to a lack of job opportunities in the country.

Nepali Congress Lawmaker Bajgai, who was elected from Gorkha -1, said he staged a symbolic protest to make the government accountable and demand policies that would match the needs and interests.
