Gold price reaches all-time high, trading at Rs 171,000 per tola

Kathmandu: The price of gold has set a new record in the domestic market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of yellow metal reached an all-time high during the Tihar festival. With the increase of price, hallmark gold is being traded at Rs 171,000 per tola (11.66 grams) on Thursday, against 170,700 on Wednesday.

It has increased by Rs 300 per tola as compared to Wednesday. However, the price of silver has increased today. The Association has fixed the price of silver at Rs 2,090 per tola. It was traded at Rs 2,120 per tola on Wednesday.
