According to the organizer NAN, 35 thousand people will visit the exhibition, and financial transactions of more than 70 hundred thousand rupees.

Kathmandu: Tihar Flora Expo 2081 has begun on Friday at Bhrikutimandap.

Nursery Association Nepal (NAN) is the organizer of the exhibition. The slogan of the exhibition is ‘Celebration of Tihar, Festival of Flowers.’

Targeting the Tihar, varieties of flowers including, Godavari, Globe Amaranth (Makhamali), nursery flowers, agriculture, forest, and herbal are kept in the exhibition.

There are 70 stalls in the exhibition. Out of these, 65 are business stalls, 3 Officials, and 2 Competitive stalls in the exhibition. The Plant Department and Flower Development Centre have also participated in the exhibition.

The exhibition features a variety of flowering and non-flowering ornamental plants, as well as a diverse range of plants produced from agricultural, forestry, herbal nurseries, and fruit nurseries, available for exhibition and sale. Additionally, stalls for fertilizers, organic and chemical pesticides, seeds, tools, equipment, and technologies are also available.

The entry fee for the general public is 100 rupees. However, students and elderly citizens will be charged only 50 rupees. The exhibition will conclude on October 29 (Kartik 13).
