Kathmandu: Nepal Samajwadi Party (NSP) will be holding a convention in Kathmandu on February 7 (Magh 25), February 8 (Magh 26) and February 9 (Magh 27).
The 1st legislative Convention held in Pokhara passed the decision of the secretariat meeting to hold the convention on the date. Each party member will vote directly in the convention, even the party’s name and flag were changed from the legislative convention.
The party name is Nepal Samajwadi Party (Naya Shakti), in short NSP is Naya Shakti.
The convention passed the arrangement of having 99 members of the party central committee and 11 members of office bearers, in which 1 chairperson, 5 Vice-Chairpersons 1 woman, 1 Janjati, 1 Madhesh, 1 KhasArya, 1 Dalit), 1 Secretary General, 3 Secretary, 1 treasurer. There will be 33 members in the election committee.
