Kathmandu: Nepal will gift a pair of elephants to Qatar.
Government Spokesperson Prithvi Subba Gurung in a press meet held at Singha Durbar on Sunday, said the meeting of cabinet held on Friday decided to give a pair of elephants as a gift to the government of Qatar, on behalf of the government of Nepal.
A pair of elephants in Hattisar, Chitwan National Park. The meeting handed over the management of zoo to the National Nature Conservation Fund.
Earlier, the government said to gift a pair of elephants to the Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, during his visit to Nepal.
