Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, also the Chairperson of CPN(UML), has laid the foundation stone of the CPN (UML) Central Office Building at Kirtipur Municipality, Maitrinagar.
CPN(UML) General Secretary Shankar Pokharel said the building will be constructed on 10 ropani 14 anna land donated by Bhat Bhateni directors and businessperson Min Bahadur Gurung and Sabitri Gurung. He said the cost and detail aspect of the building is in the process of being formulated.
Likewise, the new office building is to be constructed in Maitrinagar, after the flood damaged party’s current office Tulsilal Smriti Paratishtan in Chyasal, Lalitpur.
Gurung in response to the journalists said that he has been helping other parties as well and since he is close to the CPN(UML) it was an opportunity for him to help. He said that the building would be constructed within 1 year and be handed over on the day of Ghatasthapana.
