BP Highway obstructed again

Kathmandu: BP Highway has been obstructed again.

District Police Office, Kavre said the highway was obstructed after the dry landslide occurred on Friday morning. A dry landslide in Roshi Rural Municipality 11 Piple, Kavre buried some parts of Sumo (1 J 6817), heading to Kathmandu from Khotang, and Bus (BA 4 Kha 4352) heading towards Kathmandu from Sindhuli.

Likewise, the landslide also overturned the dozer that went to remove the vehicles being buried in the landslide. However, there are no human causalities.

BP Highway damaged by the Sunkoshi and Roshi rivers was diverted in places and brought into 1-way operation from morning. But, due to the dry landslide, the highway was obstructed again.

Police said it would take time to clear the highway.
