Incessant rainfall affects daily routine of people (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: The daily lives of the people have been affected due to the continuous heavy rainfall for the past 2 days.

Many people lost their lives, whereas some went missing due to the floods and landslide in different parts of the country. The search operation of the missing people is going on. But haven’t been found. Therefore the chances of them being alive are less.

Likewise there is risk of inundation in Terai, and fear of landslide especially in the hilly areas. Kathmandu valley is also flooded and people’s life has been affected. Especially rivers side settlements are in risk, after the rivers crossed the danger level, the local and federal government issued high alert notices.

Similarly, roads are also waterlogged resulting in difficult to travel. Vehicles being parked in parking lot are drowned and many houses are flooded. The government has requested the people not go outside, expect for important work.
