Lightning strike kills 1, 2 injured in Dang

Kathmandu: A person has been killed and two injured when lightning struck them.

Lightning struck them at the mud-and-stone house of Nimkali Sahu at Khungkot, Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City-11 in Dang district on Tuesday. Deputy Superintendent of Police Ram Prasad Timilsina, the spokesperson of the District Police Office said, Nimkali’s son Sameer Sahu (3 year old ), who was fatally injured in the incident died on Wednesday, while under treatment.

Likewise, Police said Nimkali Sahu (42) and her daughter Sabina Sahu (6) have been injured in the disaster and they are being treated at the Rapti Academy of Health Sciences, Ghorahi.
