Durga Prasai arrested in case of character assassination

Kathmandu: The medical businessperson Prasai has been arrested, who was recently making character assassination statements against various people.

Team of Cyber Bureau and Bhaktapur Police arrested Prasai from the residence on Sunday. Police with 3 vans went to Prasai’s residence located in Madhyapur Thimi Municipality 6, Bhaktapur.

Arrest warrant issued against Durga Prasai

Some supporters of Prasai were urging to chant slogans after Police reached Prasai’s house to arrest him. But, before the arrival of the supporters, police arrested Prasai and took him.

Likewise, Prasai’s bodyguard has also been detained after being involved in the scuffle during the arrest. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) member Tika Sangraula and other woman victims filed complaints against him in Cyber Bureau.
