NC President Deuba: Constitution guarantees rights of all

Kathmandu: Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said the Constitution has guaranteed the rights of all citizens by recognizing the worldwide values and principles of democracy and human rights.

In his message of best wishes on the occasion of Constitution Day on Thursday, he said ‘September 19, 2015, is a historic moment in the country’s constitutional history as we celebrate the Day as Constitution Day, May this day inspire all of us to take the country towards the path of economic prosperity by protecting the Constitution and institutionalizing the federal democratic governance system’ said the former Prime Minister Deuba.

He also remembered all those including known and unknown martyrs contributing to establishing and restoring of democracy in the country and making the promulgation of the Constitution through the Constituent Assembly.
