NC : Rabi Lamichhane cannot claim to receive a clean chit

Kathmandu: The ruling coalition party Nepali Congress (NC) has said Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane cannot claim to receive a clean chit.

Interacting with the media outside the House of Representatives (HoR) meeting on Monday, Nepali Congress Spokesperson Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat commented on Lamichhane’s claim.

‘There has also been a transaction when Rabi Lamichhane was the responsibility of the Gorkha Media. It appears like he has used the cash from the cooperative to operate the media. What did he do with the 85 crore rupees? And he undoubtedly announced that he received clean chit. How irresponsible? It is not acceptable, ‘ said Dr. Mahat.

Similarly, he said that the action must be taken as per the report. He said, ‘The report concluded that Gorkha Media was operated from the savings in the cooperative.’
