All-7 Members signed Parliamentary Committee Report

Kathmandu: All 7-members have signed the report prepared by the Cooperative Inquiry Committee, which was formed to investigate the misappropriation of cooperative savings.

The members signed the report after giving a final touch to it in a meeting, held on Monday. The parliament formed the committee for the investigation of the report 3 months ago.

Likewise, Committee member Shishir Khanal, who represented Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), had taken the stance that there was no basis for recommending action against Rabi Lamichhane in case of cooperative embezzlement. But, in the end, everybody signed the agreement.

The report will be presented in today’s House of Representatives (HoR) meeting.

Parliament Secretariat said the HOR’s schedule also comprises of Chairperson of the Committee Surya Bahadur Thapa Chettri to present the Cooperative Inquiry Committee’s report regarding misuse of cooperative saving 2081.
