Kathmandu: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has seen a notable surge of 78.17 points.
The market index increased by 78.17 points and closed at 2688.38 points. The sensitive index, which assesses the performance of ‘A’ class companies climbed by 13.40 points and reached 478.48. Out of 13 sub-groups, the share price of 12 sub-groups increased while the share price of one sub-group plunged.
A total of 19.433 units of shares were traded at Rs 8.1692 billion. According to NEPSE, the share price of Win Nepal Microfinance, Green Ventures Limited, Eastern Hydropower, and Rawa Energy recorded a 10 per cent gain in their share value.
Similarly, investors of Asian Hydropower earned 9.99% in their share value. The share price of Three Star Hydropower plunged by 10 per cent followed by Sanima Large Cap Fund by 8.49 %, RBB Mutual Fund 2 by 4.1 %, Sunrise Fast Mutual Fund by 3.71 % and Sanima Growth Fund by 3.65 %.
