Gatthaghar Accident Update: Police lift dead body of scooter driver

Kathmandu: The dead body of a scooter driver has been lifted, who died after being hit by a truck from behind at Gatthaghar, Bhaktapur.

Police lifted the body in the middle of a protest by locals. The scooter which was kept for checking by the traffic police, was hit by a truck from behind at Gathaghar on Thursday.

Stressful situation at Gathaghar, after truck hit scooter

Police said that the scooter driver died on the spot, however, the identification has not been revealed yet.Traffic Police was checking Scooter no BA Pa 8944. However, it was dragged 20 meters away after it was hit by truck no Na 6 Kha 2173.

The situation became stressful after the accident. The outraged crowd broke the window of the truck and pelted stones at police.
