Kathmandu: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has expressed dissatisfaction by saying leaders hesitated to use the word ‘Maoist People’s War’.
Participating in the transitional bill discussion meeting at parliament on Wednesday, Prachanda said, that even now when leaders say ‘violent conflict.’ They act like they will lose their cast if they use the terminology Maoist People’s War.’
Likewise, Prachanda drew the attention of the leaders by mentioning that the word’ People War’ has been written in the schedule of the constitution, made by the Constituent Assembly.
He further added, ‘If the people war was only destructive, non-political and ideological, then what we are saying today as the world’s model peace process would not have been possible.’
Prachanda said the government system focused on marginalized, classes, regions, geography, and interests should not operate in the name of constitutional amendments or political stability.
