NC recommends four ministers for Karnali province government

Kathmandu: The Nepali Congress (NC) Karnali has recommended the names of four to be inducted into the government led by Chief Minister Yamlal Kandel.

A meeting of the party on Friday, chose Rajib Bikram Shah (as minister for economic affairs and planning), Ghanashyam Bhandari (social development), Bijaya Budha ( energy and water resources), and Suresh Adhikari (industry, tourism, forest and environment) to be inducted in the government.

According to the NC chief whip for the province, Hikmat Bahadur Bist. Budha represents Humla, Shah is from Jajarkot, Adhikari is from Salyan and Bhandari represents Dailekh in the Karnali Province Assembly.

The posts turned vacant with four ministers from the CPN (Maoist Centre) deciding to quit the government on July 22 following the change in power equation in the center.
