Agreement on TRC, Task Force to submit report to top leaders next Monday

Kathmandu: The three parties have agreed upon the transitional justice bill (TRC).

CPN (Maoist Centre) Deputy General Secretary Janardan Sharma, also a member of the task force, said the task force meeting, held at Singha Durbar on Thursday, agreed upon 4 controversial points.

‘We have reached a final agreement on creating a law. Now it will move forward through the process,’ said Sharma. He said the task force will submit the report to the top leaders by next Monday.

Likewise, members of the task force and CPN (UML) Chief Whip Mahesh Bartaula said that the agreement met with an agreement regarding critical subjects like human rights violations.
