NEA prepares to reconnect lines of 6 Industries, with condition to clear arrears with 3 months

Kathmandu: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has prepared to reconnect the lines of 6 industries with a condition to pay the arrears within 3 months.

The NEA board meeting held on Tuesday decided to connect the lines by keeping the condition. Upon the dispute over dedicated and trunk lines, NEA cut lines of Reliance Spinning Mill, Ghorahi Cement, Arghakhanchi Cement, Jagadamba Steel, Jagadamba Synthetic and Hulas Steel, and other 6 industries on July 9 (Asar 25).

According to the Ministry of Energy, Water, and Resources, a minute has been prepared to connect the lines of the industries on Tuesday afternoon. Minister of Energy Deepak Khadka, Revenue Secretary Dr. Ram Prasad Ghimire, Energy Secretary Sarita Dawadi, and others were presented at the meeting.
