Rabi Lamichhane defends Deputy Speaker Magar

Kathmandu: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane has defended the case of Deputy Speaker Indira Rana Magar using her letterhead to send 5 people to the USA.

Addressing the House of Representatives meeting on Sunday, Chairperson Lamichhane argued that the Deputy Speaker only recommended an interview.

After the Nepali Congress and CPN(UML) demanded an investigation and resignation of the Deputy Speaker by connecting it to the case of human trafficking, Lamichhane said Rana was providing shelter to the children of people, who are undergoing jail sentence and is not deprived of money and non need to do human trafficking.
