PM Oli commits to solve dedicated and trunk line dispute

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has committed to solve the dedicated and trunk line dispute.

PM Oli said to solve the 6 years of dedicated and trunk line dispute after meeting with dedicated and trunk line industrialists on Wednesday. Nepal Electricity Authority in the dispute has cut lines of 6 industries.

The Prime Minister said to resolve the dispute by connecting lines soon, as cutting lines of industry would not solve the problem. Among the cut lines, some are export industries also whose production has been stopped.

Earlier former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda; led government had formed an inquiry commission under the Chairperson of former court judge Girish Chand Lal to resolve a dispute related to dedicated and trunk lines.

Likewise, PM Oli said to implement the report of the commission.
