Demonstration against reservation turns violent at Bangladesh

Kathmandu: The demonstrations that began against job reservation in Bangladesh have turned violent.

6 people died in the demonstration. Earlier the system of reservation was closed after the demonstration intensified in 2018. But, after the court reinstated the reservation system, the demonstration being heated.

Likewise, provision has been made for reservation in government jobs for the children of warriors who fought for the freedom of the country. The demonstrators accused those who supported Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina were kept in the reservation.

Similarly, in 1971 reservation was said to be given to the children of those who participated in the freedom in Bangladesh. However, the demonstration has been misused, saying that it was misused.

As the demonstration turned violent, Schools and Universities have been shut down.
